Gray's Very First Day of 3K

I just couldn't pick just one.... His personality stands out in them all. He is such a clown and full of ALL boy energy!

We got the pleasure of having Gray's teacher come and meet him in our very own home!  I love this extra perk at his new school.  He is so excited and had his very first day today and loved it. He talked all day about all of his new friends and new toys:)
He is growing up way too fast and talks as if he is 20!

Some of his recent sayings:

Mom I am the adult today okay?
Just one minute mom (while holding up his pointer finger)
Amen. Let's eat! (after every blessing)
For just a little bit- (it goes behind everything! I will play cars for just a little bit, I will take a nap a little bit, I will eat just a little bit etc..
His favorite question? What you doing?
He loves anything that has to do with cars, airplanes, truck or helicopters but most of all TRAINS!
He loves Thomas but I think now he likes Chuggington better. KoKo and Wilson are his favorites as of yesterday. Wow. It is amazing how much he soaks in!

He still loves his sleep and always has his blue puppy for naps and nighttime and still sucks his little thumb....good thing I have dental connections.

He loves sweets, unlike his brother, and Loves chocolate most of all, also opposite from his brother.

He is a clown of the family and loves to laugh at his own jokes! It is so funny to see. He was eating something and started to call them Mommy Balls. No idea where this came from and he died laughing at himself. Repeating himself saying "these are mommy balls hehehe...."

He is either Very Loud or Quite. No in between.  More Very Loud than quite:)

He loves to pester his older brother and still LOVES his mommy. If I am around everyone else is chump change:)
 He is loving Sunday school and loves to go over what God made each day. He is stuck on the first 4 days.  1. Light 2. Sky and Water 3. Land 4. Sun, Moon and Stars

I always kid around saying that we had so many people praying for Gray not to have a speech delay, like Griffin, that the Lord heard every prayer and our result??. Much Fruitfulness! The child talks from the time he gets up to the time he goes down. Loving it!

Thrilled about 5k

Griffin has been counting down the days for school to start.  When we pulled up for the open house he yelled "Mommy I am back at school!" I have never seen a kid love school so much.Above him is based on a book called Pete the Cat. His ABA therapist bought him this book two days prior to going to school. We read it several times over a 2day span and when we got to school and a whole board was dedicated to our new favorite book "Pete the Cat in his Rockin School Shoes". 

He is so independent it's scary. Made it easy for drop off but a little sad that he "thinks" he no longer needs me.

At least we are not at the point where he doesn't want to give me kisses:)

He came home talking about a little boy in the class. He states that they played blocks and ran out side together. He even went as far as saying he loved this little boy:)  So exciting!  We can't wait to see him tackle all his 5k goals!

Conversation That Warms My Heart

When I got back from the Philippines it was late Saturday night. John Van picked me up from the airport we stopped and got me a Fast Food Meal.  Then headed home so that I could crash!
The boys stayed with Dee and Pops and they were going to drop them off after their Church got out.

When they came in the door they were so excited screaming MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY's Back!

When I sat on the steps. Griffin said "Mommy what did you do at the far away land?"
My response was "I got to clean lots of teeth for people that LOVE JESUS!"
Gray then jumped in and said "Like me mommy?" as he ran to show me the picture of Jesus that he colored in sunday school. My response "Yes Gray just like you."
Griffin then proceeded to tell me that he wants to go to the far away land with me next time.

Oh how I hope my boys will have a heart for missions.... How I hope they love Jesus and will always have a relationship with him! 
This by far was my favorite conversation yet!  So sweet to see my boys growing and learining more an more about Jesus.

Annie

Last Sunday John Van and I took the boys to see Annie. While I was away, Griffin picked out the DVD at Target to take home with him and they watched it the whole two weeks while I was gone. When I got back and heard Annie was at the FLT. I thought this is a must! Both Griffin and Gray walk around the house singing the "Annie" songs.   They LOVED it!  The cast were ages 18 and under. They were all very talented but Annie was a definite favorite!
