Pumpkin Rice Crispy Treats

Gray and I always have an Wednesday afternoon date. Pumpkin Rice Crispy Treats were the date of choice. They were so yummy!

Gray's First Field Trip

Gray's very first field trip was a bus ride around Florence. He loved it!

What we had to look for during our Bus ride.  He was so serious and found every one of them more than once:)

Many of you all know that Griffin broke his leg three weeks ago.  It has not slowed him down.

Things are great.  It has been physically hard to pick him up, bath time is a little challenging and pulling the wheelchair out of the car but it has made me so grateful that this cast is temporary.  I could not imagine doing this permanently. Whew. Although I would have rockin mama arms!! HeHe..

He told the doctor he wanted a yellow cast. His favorite color and the color of the sun. Too cute.

The Last Night...Oh How We All Wish We Were Still There

Our Last night we decided to stay close and walk down to the arcade once more.

Gray decided to play wheel of fourtune first. Spent 3 tokens and won the jack pot! 2,000 tickets
I love this picture....it really captures his little personality.

 They each got a "BIG" prize and had a few tickets left over....so I picked these out for some funny pictures:)

 

I think this might be one of my favorite pictures all week. Griffin looks so serious. I have to say Ice Cream is no laughing matter. Ice cream is a must at the beach!

More Vacation...

Friday was our last day and we made sure we spent the WHOLE day on the beach. The weather was perfect for it but then again the whole week was perfect!

John Van got some really sweet pictures of the boys giving me kisses.

Nothing better than kisses on the beach! 

 

 

 

 

 

 Gray and Griffin are the perfect age and needed nothing but the waves to entertain them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thursday night we headed to the inlet to eat and then walk on the dock to see the boats!

 This is our second year eating here. We love it! Perfect for the boys with live music and picnic tables and rocking chairs

 They found a SHARK...Pops told them it was a tuna but to them it didn't sink in. Still a shark in their eyes.

 A dear friend came to visit.  His daughter and wife were on a trip and he decided to come and meet us for dinner.

 Griffin grabbed Pops reading glasses off the table and decided he wanted to try them out.

 

 

There was an area that was set up to buy things. This is the homemade bubble maker that we purchased! It was the neatest thing! We may just be suckers but we were amazed and the boys loved it!

Day 5 Zoo at the Beach??

Today we got to really enjoy the beautiful weather in a different way but a priceless way. This was by far one of my favorite days this week.  DeeDee and I decided to let the Men take the day to themselves while us gals took the two little fellas to an out door adventure!

 This sign I had to capture. It was right above the pigs. Too funny. No other animal had a special sign except for the pigs. He He..

Gray yelled that's the duck I rode on the merry go round!

The peacocks ruled the Zoo having full range and loved the peanuts we had.

 We decided not to feed this big guy.

We  had a picnic and discussed our zoo trip.  We asked the boys their favorite animal and they both replied the Lion. Dee Dee's favorite was the Tiger and mine was the monkey with the red hiney.  We then proceeded to take even more pictures with all the fun outdoor atmosphere!

Needless to say we had a Great time!  We will be back for sure.
